THE NINE LAWS

CHAPTER #3.5

LAW #5: COACH DEVELOPMENT

In order to become a professional coach, coaches should go through a formal coach development process to develop their technical, soft, business and sales skills, as well as ensure they’re on board with your gym’s culture and vision.

Why?

Because a true professional coach needs to be more than just a technical wizard or a great athlete. They need to be invested in the long-term success of their clients and the business. They need to have the soft skills to attain and retain relationships—to attract actual people who want to learn from them.

Setting your coaches up with the skills and system to flourish as a professional is essential to both their growth and your business. Coaches who can attract and retain clients have a massive opportunity in this model. (See Law 5)
